'Dust In The Wind'

48th Maintenance Company - Aviation, Soldier and Ordnance Art

A P-40 Curtiss Tomahawk takes off in a cloud of dust on a primitive runway. Runways during the war were not in the greatest condition and were either a cloud of dust, or a messy mud pit. The pilots of the day had to have great skill in take-off and landing. Taking off in a dust bowl could destroy an engine in a matter of seconds. One chance is all you usually had on a windy day. Each print is individually signed and numbered by US Army Veteran Douglas Curtiss. This edition is limited to only 25 prints.
